BMW unveils M4 GT3 Evo

Already proven to be a contender, BMW has revealed its highly anticipated M4 GT3 Evo prior to this weekend’s Intercontinental GT Challenge event, the Nurburgring 24 Hour.

Since its debut in 2022, the M4 has continued to uphold BMW’s honour in GT3 started by the Z4 and continuing with the M6, which scored multiple 24 Hours of Spa victories.

Drivers Jens Klingmann, Bruno Spengler and Augusto Farfus completed intensive testing of the new Evo package as performance, drivability, efficiency and reliability were the key focuses of improvement.

This has resulted in smaller rear-view mirrors, larger air outlets within the front-wheel arches, a new rear wing design improving its aero efficiency, new front and rear anti-roll bars, larger rear brake discs, while a revised differential ensures changes can be made easier.

Bodywork has been updated to the appearance of the current model.

“The BMW M4 GT3 has achieved more than 70 victories and countless major successes since its introduction.

“I particularly remember the DTM titles in 2022, the victory at the 24h Spa-Francorchamps in 2023, and the title wins in the North American IMSA series.

“I am convinced that the EVO model of the BMW M4 GT3, as well as that of the BMW M4 GT4, will contribute to playing in the first league of GT racing in the coming years and celebrating many more great victories. I thank everyone involved in the development of the cars.”

The Evo package will be available to BMW teams for the 2025 season and this can be fitted to the current specification model.
