A number of GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS teams and drivers will strut their stuff on the world stage later this month following the release of the Bathurst 12 Hour entry list.
With an impressive field of 35 entered in the famous annual event at the iconic Mount Panorama, there will be familiar GT World Challenge Australia faces in almost a third of the internationally star-studded line-up.
Leading the local GT charge is reigning Pro-Am champion Brad Schumacher in the Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II alongside 2024 teammate Will Brown and German star Christopher Haase.
Schumacher’s 2025 title-winning teammate Broc Feeney will also be present at the event, however the Queenslander will be in a completely different stable, joining world-class GT superstar and two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner Christopher Mies and Norwegian Dennis Olsen in the highly esteemed outfit HRT Ford Racing.
The two entries feature in the strong 15-car Pro class, which will see GT World Challenge Australia regular outfits Tigani Motorsport and Arise Racing both in the action.
Behind the wheel of the Arise Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 will be 2025 Pro-Am title contender Jaxon Evans, Brazilian Daniel Serra and Italian Davide Rigon, while campaigning the Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO will be the team’s regular Australian Mercedes-AMG Junior Jayden Ojeda and fellow Mercedes Factory Drivers Fabian Schiller of Germany and Swiss-Brit Philip Ellis.
Tigani will also run another pair of its regular drivers in the Pro-Am Class as Marcel Zalloua and Sergio Pires link up with GT World Challenge Australia race-winner Brendon Leitch and international Aussie Scott Andrews in the team’s second Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.
Joining the Tigani Motorsport quartet will be another foursome familiar to Aussie fans with Steve Brooks, Mark Rosser and Alex Peroni to pilot the Team BRM Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II with Supercars gun James Golding.
Tigani Motorsport will also have a presence in the 10-car Bronze class with James Koundouris and Theo Koundouris driving with David Russell and Zac Bates in the Supabarn Supermarkets Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.
Also in the class will be Marc Cini, Dean Fiore and Lee Holdsworth in the Hallmarc/Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, and Wall Racing, who brings along regular steerers Adrian Deitz and Tony D’Alberto, as well as Aussie Grant Denyer and Italian Marco Mapelli.
Team MPC star Ryan Wood will also feature in the event with the New Zealander to line up alongside a new team of drivers including Christopher Froggatt, Jonathan Hui and Lorenzo Patrese in the Ziggo Sport Tempesta by ARGT Ferrari 296 GT3.
In the Invitational Class, 111 Racing will contest the event with Darren Currie, Axel Donaldson and Daniel Stutterd in the team’s IRC GT.
GT World Challenge Australia regular outfit Volante Rosso will field two cars for the event with a completely new line up of drivers – Bryce Fullwood, Damien Hamilton, Andrés Pato and Maxime Robin to pilot the team’s Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, while rising stars Bayley Hall, Rylan Gray and Marcos Flack will drive Volante Rosso’s McLaren 720S GT3 EVO.
Rounding out the GT World Challenge Australia list of names are Team MPC’s family affair of Anthony Quinn, Kent Quinn, Klark Quinn and Ryder Quinn in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, and Scott Taylor Motorsport’s Tom Randle, who will join Supercars race winner Cam Waters and 2024 Pro-Am champion Chaz Mostert.
The 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour takes place at Mount Panorama on 12–15 February.
