The 2026 GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season continues this weekend, with 15 cars set to tackle Queensland Raceway as part of Round 3 of the Shannons SpeedSeries.
After entertaining opening rounds at Phillip Island and Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, the title fight heads to Queensland finely poised, with reigning champions Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher holding a slender advantage over Jayden Ojeda and Paul Lucchitti following a dramatic weekend at The Bend.
Feeney and Schumacher continue to lead the standings aboard the Kelso Electrical Team MPC Audi R8 LMS EVO II, however Ojeda and Lucchitti's victory at The Bend has reduced the margin to just two points heading into the third round of the season.
Adding another layer of intrigue to the weekend is the return of Alex Peroni, who rejoins Mark Rosser in the #268 Team BRM Audi after recovering from a broken hand, and while Peroni may be out of contention for the overall Pro-Am title after missing the opening rounds, he will be eager to help Rosser stay in running for overall honours.
With seven manufacturers represented across the grid and both the Pro-Am and Trophy Class title fights beginning to take shape, Queensland Raceway is set to provide another important chapter in the 2026 GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season.
Audi
Audi remains as the largest manufacturer representation on the GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS grid, fielding five R8 LMS EVO IIs across the Pro-Am and Trophy classes.
Leading the charge are Pro-Am leaders Feeney and Schumacher in the #1 Kelso Electrical Team MPC Audi, while fellow Melbourne Performance Centre entries Valentino Astuti and Darren Currie continue their campaign in the #2 Trading Garage Team MPC Audi - the former of whom remains in contention for SRO GT Academy honours.
Rounding out the Team MPC contingent are current Trophy Class leaders Matthew Stoupas and Paul Stokell return in the #24 KFC Team MPC Audi.
The other major Audi representation comes in the form of Team BRM, with the #88 Wolfbrook Motorsport Audi of New Zealand pairing Ryan Wood and Steve Brooks on one side of the garage, and the returning Peroni/Rosser on the other side.

Joining them is the Zagame Autosport Ferrari of Josh Buchan and Cameron Campbell, with the duo continuing to search for a breakthrough result after showing plenty of promise throughout the opening rounds, while OnlyFans Racing’s Renee Gracie and Will Davison round out the Ferrari contingent – the pair quickly growing in speed following two rounds of learning for the famous manufacturer.
