SRO Motorsports Australia is pleased to announce a provisional calendar for the 2027 GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season, with the popular series once again set to headline the five-event Shannons SpeedSeries.
Announced as part of the SRO Motorsport’s global calendar reveal at the famous CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, next year will see GT World Challenge Australia visit some of the nation’s most iconic circuits - highlighted by a return to the famous Mount Panorama in the back half of the season.
The return to Bathurst comes off the back of the Shannons SpeedSeries’ exciting announcement where it will host its 2027 season finale at the famous mountain in a standalone event - the first since it held the Bathurst International in 2024.
Prior to the exciting move to Mount Panorama, the season kicks off with the now-traditional opener at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in April, before rounds at The Bend in May and Sydney Motorsport Park at the end of July, marking the halfway point of the calendar.
Queensland Raceway awaits the category in September before GT World Challenge Australia makes its exciting return to Bathurst at the end of October.
With five rounds locked in as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries, its sixth and final outing is yet to be confirmed but will be announced in the coming months, along with the finalised event details and dates.
GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS continues its 2025 season next month as part of the historic Shannons SpeedSeries round at Hidden Valley on July 24–26.
Fans can purchase tickets to the round via speedseries.com.au/tickets or watch the races live via FOX SPORTS Australia or Kayo SPORTS for those in the country, while the GT World YouTube channel will be available for international viewers.
