Gracie goes fastest in GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS Bronze Practice

Renee Gracie continues to improve behind the wheel of her new #181 OnlyFans Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 as she posted the fastest time in GT World Challenge powered by AWS Bronze Practice.

Setting a time of 1.07.757 on her final lap, Gracie ended up taking top honours in a session for the first time this season having switched from an Audi to a Ferrari at the start of the year.

Going second fastest in the session was Sergio Pires in the Geyer Valmont Racing by Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO with the winner from last month’s visit to The Bend ending up just eight hundredths of a second off.

The top two were in a league of their own during the session, with Paul Lucchitti’s fastest lap time almost one second off Gracie - the New South Welshman steering the Move My Wheels by Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO to a time of 1.08.661 and third overall.

Mark Rosser was the best of the Audis for the session, with the Team BRM driver steering his Audi R8 LMS EVO II to fourth with a time of 1.08.826 - more than one second off the pace, while Brad Schumacher rounded out the top five in his #1 Kelso Electrical MPC Audi R8 LMS EVO II.

Having recorded his best time of 1.08.828 on lap five, Schumacher ended up crashing out not long after - bringing the red flag out and forcing him to the pits for the rest of the session.

In the Trophy Class, Paul Stokell topped the timesheets in the #24 KFC Team MPC Audi R8 LMS EVO II - his time of 1.08.958 ending up more than one and a half seconds faster than series debutant, Cameron Rees.

Behind the wheel of the Volante Rosso Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, Rees improved from the opening session this morning to post a time of 1.10.238 - one second faster than the #71 AED Consulting by Tigani Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3R of Nathan Halstead.
